Create exams, enter marks and publish results

An exam in Wird has four stages: create it, give it a timetable, collect the marks from teachers, then publish the results to students and parents.

1. Set your grading scale (once)

Where to find itExam Grade

Enter your grade bands, for example 90 to 100 is A. Wird uses this scale to give each result a grade.

2. Create the exam

Where to find itManage Exam

  1. Click Create, enter the exam name, for example Midterm, and choose the academic year.
  2. Choose the classes that sit this exam.
  3. Save.

3. Add the exam timetable

From the exam list, open the timetable of the exam. For each subject, enter the date, start and end time, total marks and passing marks.

4. Enter the marks

Where to find itUpload Exam Marks

  1. The subject teacher chooses the exam, the class section and the subject.
  2. They enter the marks for each student and save.
  3. For large classes, use the bulk upload of exam marks with a spreadsheet.

Use Track Exam Marks to see which subjects still have missing marks before you publish.

5. Publish the results

  1. When all marks are in, publish the exam from the exam list.
  2. Students and guardians see the results in their accounts.
  3. Open Exam Result to review the results by section and print report cards.
